Vrrrrrrrrooooooooommmmmmmm
Since our Dodge truck was stolen and needs extensive work done, we decided to get a new one. Here is James, the proud new owner. We got a great deal on this truck. It's a 2006 Ford F-150 crew cab Triton Edition. Oh, it has all the bells and whistles i.e. moon roof, climate control, heated leather seats, keyless entry. James gets giddy just thinking about driving it. It's his dream truck. Hope he makes this one last awhile.

My Cool Neighbor
So my neighbor came over last night. He said he had something for me. I was worried that it was alive. People seem to think we are a drop off for unwanted animals. So he went to his truck and pulled out a spider! He welds a lot and makes all kinds of decorations. He made a bunch of these spiders and gave me one since I always decorate our yard for Halloween. How nice is that! I love it! Thanks Jeff!

State #27 Wisconsin
I went to visit Sally and Monica in Rockford, IL over the weekend. They were nice enough to take me to Wisconsin, so I could check another state off my list. Did you know that you can buy fireworks year round in Wisconsin? Little bit of trivia for you all.
We ate at some great restaurants. I have never eaten as much as I did at the Parthenon.OPA!!
Wonderful Greek food. I was so stuffed I thought I might just throw up. I really over did it!

Unfortunately I didn't take pictures, my camera battery was dead and I wasn't smart enough to replace it. Oh well, i'll be back later! Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, some of the skyscrapers, including the Sears Tower, had pink lights at the top. Very nice! Save the Ta-Tas!

I Am An ENFJ

The Giver
You strive to maintain harmony in relationships, and usually succeed.
Articulate and enthusiastic, you are good at making personal connections.
Sometimes you idealize relationships too much - and end up being let down.
You find the most energy and comfort in social situations ... where you shine.
In love, you are very protective and supporting.
However, you do need to "feel special" - and it's quite easy for you to get jealous.
At work, you are a natural leader. You can help people discover their greatest potential.
You would make a good writer, human resources director, or psychologist.
How you see yourself: Trusting, idealistic, and expressive
When other people don't get you, they see you as: Bossy, inappropriate, and loud http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyourpersonalitytypequiz/

More Gas? Yes Please!
What do leg hair and gasoline have in common? Oh, they both burn. Just ask James. He decided to put a LOT of gas on some branches and boxes to start the fire faster. When he squatted down to light it with a lighter, he was engulfed in a huge ball of flames. Luckily he didn't catch fire and he jumped over the fence into the horse trough full of water. James' right arm and leg look fabulous without hair. Forget the Veet. As if it wan't enough to burn himself, James then started burning trails of gunpowder on the ground. Oh yeah, he really did.

Left leg, hair
Right leg, not so much

It's About Dirt
James in the skid steer loader.
We got about 65 yards of dirt to finish backfilling around our house. James had a hay day moving it all around and sloping it off.
Now we just need a sprinkler system installed and hydro-seeded before winter. I was hoping this would get done before too much rain or snow. No such luck, it
rained a lot today. Boys love mud.
Ok Joel, your turn!

YippeKaiYay
We had a great time at Lagoon on Sunday.
WICKED!
Lagoon has a Skycoaster that is approximately 143 feet above the ground with the flight cables taut and the flight is ready to begin. Upon being given the signal, the flyers pull the rip cord, releasing them from the launch cable, and they begin to rapidly swing towards the ground at speeds reaching up to 80 mph.
All 4 of us went on this. It was awesome! I loved it. You freefall for about 3 seconds, then you swing! I'ts so fun! Everyone needs to do it!
WICKED!

Wicked is just that, "Wicked". I loved it, it's now my fave ride. SkyCoaster is a close second though.
Somehow we managed to be at Lagoon on the one and only "Gay Day" this season. I noticed that a lot were wearing red tshirts. Damion was also wearing red. When I looked it up online later, I found out that red tshirts were planned. Just as I suspected, but I didn't tell Damion until we were home the next day. He wasn't very happy to hear this news.

Mission Impossible

Last Sunday we left our home at noon, ready for a fun filled day at Lagoon. Everything was fine until about Tremonton. Our car started losing power. So we limped along in the emergency lane hoping to make it to Brigham City. But the car died. So James tried starting it and it worked just fine! So we kept going, hoping to get somewhere with a rental car. The car kept losing power about every 20 mins. We made it to Ogden, but the rental car places closed 30 minutes before. So we limped on to Salt Lake airport. Once there we checked for cars and the only thing available was an suv, which is twice the price. Whatever, we agreed to the $57 for one day, then there was tax...grand total...$75. So much for saving money by driving our car, Ok fine! So we find a Ford dealer and head that way to drop off the car. That particular dealer has moved to another location! Fine! So we find our hotel, check in, find another dealer. Ok, we leave the car. It's now 7pm! Lagoon closes at 10pm and we still had to go to Huntsman Cancer institute to pick some things for James' testing on Monday. No Lagoon! And it's Sunday, so everything is pretty much closed by 7pm.ARGHHHH! Luckily the hotel had a pool open until 11pm.
The next day James goes in at 7:30 am for testing, gets back at 9 am. We check on the car, they MIGHT get it in after noon. So we eat breakfast and James has an appointment at 11am to meet with his doctor about the test results. We head up the the institute and wait. Almost 2 hours later we see the doctor. Finally! He doesn't have any info. So he and James talk about fishing for 15 minutes, then we leave. Nothing accomplished! So we go mess around at Cabella's. We call the Ford dealer after lunch and they can't find anything wrong after hooking it up to some diagnostic thing!?! Fine! Try harder! They say they will find someone to drive it around and duplicate the problem. Great! Whatever, we head to the dealer back in SLC. It's now 4pm. I just want my car!!! This trip was so horrible, I just want to limp back home! At about 5pm we finally get the keys back to our car and return the rental, which is 20 minutes late. Of course now we are in rush hour traffic with a little construction thrown in for fun. After all that, our car runs just fine! No problems all the way home! What the?!@$!*!
